Terms of Use
Last updated July 29, 2026
By using Crapple Maps you agree to these terms. They exist mostly so the community stays useful and nobody ruins the map for everyone else.
Your content
You own what you post (logs, comments, photos, reviews, restroom info) and grant us a license to display it in the app. Post only what you have the right to share.
Community rules — zero tolerance for objectionable content
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or abuse directed at anyone.
- No sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
- No spam, impersonation, or deliberately false restroom information.
- No content that violates someone else's privacy (e.g., photos of identifiable people without consent).
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Every post and comment can be reported in-app; reports are reviewed and actioned within 24 hours, including removing content and ejecting the user who posted it. You can also block any user, which immediately hides their content from you.
Accuracy
Restroom data is community-sourced and provided as-is. Hours, access codes, and availability change — we can't guarantee a restroom will be open, clean, or existent when you arrive. Plan accordingly.
Accounts
You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules. You can delete your account any time in Profile → Delete account.
Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crapple Maps is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app or reliance on community-submitted data.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
